Fighting over shoes

 

The lovely (and shoe addicted) Jo M. mentioned that she'd seen this quote on a shop window and thought of me. I LOVE IT!!! And on a really awful day, I NEEDED it.
I have never fought with someone over a pair of shoes but I have said some really bad words when a pair of shoes has disappeared from my online shopping cart because someone has bought them before I have checked out.

Ruby Slippers

These are the 'famous' ruby slippers that I bought on my last trip to Manchester. They are so perfectly me that I cried when I saw them.

They are Hush Puppies and are incredibly comfortable but they only come out for very special occasions as I'm terrified that the glitter will disappear!

In this picture, my left ruby slipper is resting next to the champagne in the back of the stretch Hummer that took us to the Yarra Valley. Not quite Kansas, but still pretty awesome.

There will be another post on the ruby slippers, a side on photo is definitely required!

Broken promises....

I promised that my blogging would become more regular. I really thought that because it was holidays, this would be the case but sadly I did not count on getting this virus that has floored me for 10 days now and is showing no signs of easing up.

My Left Foot....

I think before we go any further with this adventure (and believe me we will go further!) we should review the history of my left foot.

With apologies to the squeamish, all that needs to be seen is the photo above. And the information that out of that scar came a cyst that was at least 7cm high.

I Love Billy #1

Most people who know me know about the 3 men in my life - Ben, Jerry and Dr Bombay. So now I admit to the 4th - Billy. Just as addictive, a lot less fattening!

My absolute favourite brand of shoes is I Love Billy. I know that they will be a perfect, comfortable fit, every time.

I don't have as much success with the sister company Django and Juliette but my "Billy's" are always wonderful.

The ones above are a burgundy patent with a burgundy velvet bow. To die for.....

I love Love LOVE "I Love Billy".
